The Issue:

The Government is looking at a number of ways of tackling the issues around fuel poverty and supporting households in keeping their energy bills as low as possible.

Action:

The DECC has set-up a National Network of organisation’s like ours and tasked them with delivering expert training, tips and information on how to save money on energy bills to frontline organisations and households across the Borough. Energy efficiency is one of the most effective and sustainable ways of tackling fuel poverty and can be a long term way of helping people who are struggling to heat their homes.

If you are a frontline organisation:

We can provide your Staff and Volunteers with the necessary skills to help your clients. This is by way of free a one off training session that lasts no more than 60 minutes. To arrange a training session, or for more information please don’t hesitate to contact us.

If you are a Bill Payer or Householder:

We can give you expert tips and information on the best ways to save money on your energy bills. We will be putting on a number of events across the Borough please see the local press, our posters or flyers or for further information please visit our Energy Saving web page.
